Formerly Coffee Bean Culture
In September 2024 after 3 years of trading as coffee bean culture I felt it was time to rebrand. Back when I started coffee bean culture I had to make a decision on a name, I was using the name Handmade by Liam Berge and about to launch my first website and once the web address was bought it would make it final so choices had to be made. In the end I decided to call the website Coffee Bean Culture as with my work being predominantly coffee themed it had to be something that would come up on google when you searched for coffee bean jewellery so using a coffee themed brand name just felt right. Well three years on from there and my work has diversified a bit as I've been playing with stone settings, making memorial ash jewellery, and recently I started making some wheat themed jewellery too. Under the previous name I felt it started to limit me to one theme and although coffee will still be a huge focus of mine I needed to evolve. So after a few months debating it was time to relaunch as Sølv Lines. I'm still the same silversmith, making the same art, but now I can let my creativity flourish without themed limitations.
Meet Liam Berge
Liam begun silversmithing back in 2020 taking a workshop at Silverhub Studios in Edinburgh for a 10 week workshop. After week 9 we went into lockdown and the course was over but by then he had found his love for silvermsithing and decided to get the tools he needed a create a workshop at home, and given that he was about to have plenty time at home it was a great opportunity for the business to begin. Once lockdown was over he went back to continue using the workspaces of Silverhub before moving to Blairgowrie where he now works from his workbench at home.
Meet Demi Yuill Berge
Demi began her creative work by volunteering at Steam Punk Coffee in North Berwick to release a zine, this inspired her love for coffee themed art and exploring digital media. From there her work has evolved to include lino printing art and themes around nature and coffee expressing her love of the outdoors and all things caffeinated.

I'm really pleased with my purchase, and the quality of my coffee bean ring is top notch. I had a Tiffany one for years but it broke, and I replaced it with this. I can honestly say that I prefer it because it's two different colours and it looks more like an authentic coffee bean. The seller was great - item as described, good communication, fast delivery and well packaged. I highly recommend, and I would purchase from this seller again - thank you 🙏
